  Trust has always been the basis of the relationships that IT Works builds with our customers. Because of the nature of information that you have entrusted to us we have developed the following privacy policy.

Information Collection

We will ask you for information that personally identifies you (personal information) or allows us to contact you. Such information is gathered when you request services or information from us, such as, but not limited to, requesting quotes for products or services, or accessing password protected portions of our site.

If you request a service that we cannot provide to you, we may pass that information on to one of our affiliates to further assist you. We will contact you with the information of the company we intend to pass the information to and ask your permission. If you do not provide permission we will not contact the other company on your behalf. You are free to contact them if you choose to further investigate their products or services. 

We may occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, including packaging, mailing and delivering purchases, answering customer questions about products or services, and sending postal mail. We will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

IT Works, Inc. will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on IT Works, Inc. or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of IT Works, Inc. and its family of Web sites, and, (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of IT Works, Inc., its Web sites, or the public. 

Cookies

IT Works, Inc. may set and access IT Works cookies on your computer. The setting of cookies by IT Works will be used for log in purposes only, such that you would not have to re-enter your information each time that you visit our site. The practice of setting cookies is not being used by IT Works, at this time.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

IT Works, Inc. may amend this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on our pages.
  
  
  Product Return Policy (Last updated March 2006)
 
IT Works, Inc. requires a return authorization number to return any products. A return authorization must be received within 30 days of the received date of the item to be considered for return.
   
  IT Works, Inc. does not accept opened or used products for return. Items returned to IT Works without prior authorization will be refused. Customary restocking and shipping fees, if any, will apply on returns.
   
  If an item is returned for replacement or exchange we will credit the customer when the returned product is received by IT Works, Inc.  If the item(s) was paid with a credit card, the card used for the purchase will be credited. 
  
Items sent from IT Works or their affiliates are packaged to resist most damages during shipment. When shipping returned items to us for credit, proper care must be applied to assure that the product is received free from damages. IT Works will not process a credit for items that are improperly packaged and damaged as a result. Any damages to product during shipping shall be claimed with the appropriate shipping carrier by the sender of that product. An RMA must be acquired to receive replacements for items damaged during shipping. 
 
We advise that you properly note any visible damage on the delivery receipt with the carrier, at the time you receive any goods. This further safeguards your ability to receive re-imbursement from the carrier, for goods that are damaged in shipment.
